Allan and I enjoyed chasing this elusive but consistent guy around by sound at Gage Gardens in Marathon. He’s a photogenic lad!!
Allan and I were privileged to watch a second hatch (this time of large flying ants) at LE Woods Picnic Area in the Davis Mountains last week. Finally got the pose I wanted !!
So I watched this Lark Sparrow at L.E. Wood Picnic area in Davis Mnts for about 20 minutes. I couldn’t tell what he/she was up to until I checked the pix on PC. Gathering hairs!!!! For nesting I presume. What eyesight these critters have!!!
