Highly recommended!!!!!

Highly recommended!!!!!

A chance to practice your silhouettes (and to be amazed that Plumbeous V can spell silhouette!). Only had 1 HO empid on this trip thus far. Near Cuba, NM. Not sure species.
Another great effort by Lee & Birch!!! Concise, pointed, and beautifully illustrated!!!
Spent about 4 hours on morning of November 9 staking out Santa Elena canyon overlook with a buddy and some pleasant fellow birders trying to see nutting’s flycatcher. Had to settle for heard only but we heard it about 10 times and have no doubts.
Anyone who missed Cin Ty Lee’s talk on Empids you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9_bqVZaYqw I’m about to watch
Another Empid. I watched this one about 30 minutes. I’ll only say this one is from Oregon. Your diagnosis?
Had 3 Least Flycatchers giving their “whit” calls in a loose flock this morning at my place (The Dacha). (Pix from last winter).
