And finally, here’s another cool gull from Corpus. It took me 7 tries over the past 3 years to finally get this gull. He’s been returning to a bait shop there for at least that long. Also compared to Herring in 1 pix.

Virginia and I made a quick trip to corpus yesterday for 3 gulls and a duck. Our score on target birds? 0 for 4!! But none the less a great day!!! Gray Gull NO, Brownsville Dump YES
Spent monday and tuesday on a quick trip hoping for Gray Gull in the Rio Grande Valley. Didn’t find that gull, but always wanted to visit the famous City of Brownsville Dump !!!! Quite a sight!!!

Our group in High Island really enjoyed this hatch of termites in Smith Oaks!! Brought in many passerines. I guess we spent 30 minutes watching.
