Well I’ve been out gulling most days this week. Staying at my sister’s who lives near a favorite gull location on Lake Ray Hubbard. I’ve been looking for, and thought I’d found, variously Iceland gull (Thayers), California Gull, and today a great black backed gull. Looks like a glaucous winged is in Amarillo (from NA gulls fb page).

Seriously thinking about taking my yak out onto White Rock Lake next time!!! (For the gulls, not the girls!!) Roosting on the water in 1000s and weren’t disturbed by the rowers.
