I’d like some comments on 1 of the 4 Ibis I had at Hornsby yesterday.

Just added bird 148 at The Dacha: Western Meadowlark. (Note: I don’t have a pix of Western, this one’s an Eastern).
11, possibly 12 species at Hornsby yesterday. Here’s a few pix.
Thanks to Terry for letting me know about this Red-necked Phalarope at Hornsby. I re-found it at noon today.
I enjoyed Cin Ty Lee’s presentation on Empids at TOS!! He’s got some good material on his website: http://www.cintylee.org/#/guiding-services/ I also notice that Butter Butt’s are scarfing down crushed pecans in the street in several locations.
Here’s a question: does anyone know the answer without checking field guide? (I only know cause I learned it just now. I saw it): What color is a juvenile cardinal’s bill this time of year?
A chance to practice your silhouettes (and to be amazed that Plumbeous V can spell silhouette!). Only had 1 HO empid on this trip thus far. Near Cuba, NM. Not sure species.
