Other than not finding Baird’s (yet) I am finding good sparrows. Here’s a few pix from Marfa vicinity for ya’ll to ID. I’ve had 13 species so far.
Been hearing many of these on the Oregon Coast. Do you know the ID? (not the robin). Been extremely hard to see (much less photo) any of them. Too many trees!!!
This from the Texbirds facebook page by David Sarkozi. “If you’re in the Houston area go outside and look up! Massive movement of birds, I’ve had over 1000 wood storks pass over, others have reported up to 10,000 broad-winged hawks, radar shows many birds still moving into the area”.
Once again just as i dreamed!! Was able to get this Baird’s sparrow with perfect background in Davis mountains today!! (Note: early April Fools dad joke!)
