There’s been several Screech Owls singing on my early morning walks recently and this morning also a Barred Owl.

On September 26 this bird was somewhere in Oklahoma. On October 1 I’m pretty sure i saw the same bird in Alvarado Texas. Heading south!! (I didn’t get a pix though)
We dipped on the Henslows yesterday in the wind (I shall return!!), but Lance, Flo and I had a good day hunting through Aggie land marshes and sod farms.
