I’m hoping this lead weight I just found on walk will thwart the raccoons from lifting and pillaging my feeder!!!

Terlingua Trifecta
Just back from several days in Terlingua, Fort Davis, Big Bend area. Saw about 60 bird species, but overall low in numbers. Best bird probably Townsend Solitaire. Here’s some cool non bird animals we saw — the “B” trifecta — Black Witch, Badger & Bear. That black blob is the bear. We pointed it out…
2024 Eclipse !!!
Luck was with us in Garland for the big event I’d looked forward to for years!!! May have to go to Iceland in 2026 or so.
