When identifying a Semipalmated Plover, the latter word can rhyme with lover or rover. Both are technically correct.

11, possibly 12 species at Hornsby yesterday. Here’s a few pix.
Saw some rain coming yesterday so headed to Hornsby for another shorebird and migrant fix!!
