Iceland Gull Texas City Dike
Here’s a gull we found towards the end of our time at Texas City Dike on Gulls FT. Who can ID it? (Please stay mum if you were present for the sighting, at least till it is IDed).

Here’s the other nice find of the IDDGG Class FT. Seen on Saturday morning by all participants I believe. Again if you were present lets let others ID it.
Bat Falcon — That’s him on top of the telephone pole just left of the water tower. Got him after about 15 micro-seconds of very dedicated and difficult searching. We saw the Social Flycatcher too, but all my pix (from the scrum) were of Kiss-Katies.
Here’s a little gulls quiz for the IDDGG class of 2023 and a video of gull-pipers (still at Granger yesterday).
I’m excited that “The Gull Guide” by Amar Ayash will be coming out next week!!! I bought mine some time ago!! If you are a gull aficionado, or at least gull curious, you can listen to Amar discussing the book on 2 different podcasts recently. And it just so happens that I had my first…
Another question for 2022 gulls class: with these long narrow wings with black wingtips I thought I had what species? But what species is it actually?
Who am I?
