Went to Hornsby this morning. 13 species of shorebirds once again, but each time the list is slightly different. Today I had Wilson’s Snipe for the first time this fall. Solitary Sandpiper has been regular (west end of pond 1W) which is slightly unusual.

In 2021 we had a fallout early in the week and then good birding all week culminating with Virginia, Eric and I watching orioles, grossbeaks, warblers, etc. streaming through the trees at Smith Oaks….
