Came across this titmouse with an oddly curved tail in the Davis Mountains. Hope they grow in straight next time, buddy!!

Allan and I enjoyed chasing this elusive but consistent guy around by sound at Gage Gardens in Marathon. He’s a photogenic lad!!
Just back from a few days at Fort Davis. Stopped in at Sandia Wetlands (a nice stop just off I10) and Lake Balmorhea and had 9 species of shorebird. Killdeer, BN Stilt, Avocet, Wilson’s Phal, Spotted Sand, Western Sand (flyby), Upland Sand (several flyovers), Greater yellowlegs and my fav: fly right over the head 12…
On return from Davis mnts today I made my regular stop at the pecos river on the outskirts of Iraan (that’s “Ira — Anne”). There I found a Least Flycatcher and a low altitude Uppy flyby.
