What a great trip to the coast with the 2022 TAS Shorebird Class!!! Highlights for me were the Aplomado falcons and Elegant Tern (life bird!!), as well as the good company of bird nerds !!
Luck was with us in Garland for the big event I’d looked forward to for years!!! May have to go to Iceland in 2026 or so.
But we are so egalitarian that we also do warbler faces!! Again, thanks to Eric and the Warbler Guide!! The following and more can be found at the website for The Warbler Guide by Tom Stephenson and Scott Whittle. Their book is excellent and innovative!!
Here’s a couple from Davis Mountains region for someone not named Allan to ID please.
The view from Hornsby today.
