Buckee’s National Wildlife Refuge (gulls)
On Saturday Eric texted me about Franklin’s gulls at Hornsby and I was sorry to miss. But on Sunday driving back from Dallas I hit the mother-lode!!!! I watched for at least 45 minutes and guestimated 3000-4000 gulls went by!! What a blast!!! And you’ll never guess the wonderful nature setting where I witnessed this………………………………….
Dacha Sparrows & Migrants
Spotted towhee, numerous Lincoln, white crown, white throated and chippys at the dacha still today. White eye and yellow throat vireos showed up about a week ago. Summer Tanager first seen on Friday. No sign of great crest fly yet.

Been uppies and dickcissels going over regularly in small numbers this morning at “The Dacha “. Also been hearing the snap of warbler bills in small groups. The ones I got on were yellow warblers.
