On a walk in the neighborhood I had some nice birds today, ash throated, vermillion, scissors flys, grasshopper, lark, chippy, savanna and brewers sparrows, and black capped vireo. No pix.

Spotted towhee, numerous Lincoln, white crown, white throated and chippys at the dacha still today. White eye and yellow throat vireos showed up about a week ago. Summer Tanager first seen on Friday. No sign of great crest fly yet.

Virginia and I made a quick trip to corpus yesterday for 3 gulls and a duck. Our score on target birds? 0 for 4!! But none the less a great day!!!
