What a great trip to the coast with the 2022 TAS Shorebird Class!!! Highlights for me were the Aplomado falcons and Elegant Tern (life bird!!), as well as the good company of bird nerds !!

Of the 39 species we cover in class, I’ve seen 22 at Hornsby in about the past month. The only thing I think I’ve missed was Black-bellied Plover.
