Hornsby Birds
The view from Hornsby today.
The view from Hornsby today.
Here’s a cool little visitor to the hot tub last night I also heard them on Masters telecast yesterday.
And some more good news!! Hope we can stop in on coming trip.
Great news!!!!! Go TOS!!!!
One of these things is not like the other…..Ok recent gulls class, what do you see here? From Hornsby earlier this week.
Speaking of sandpipers: here’s another one someone can ID.
Here’s a comparison of Semipalmated with a Least. So I think we can see actual black legs here on this sandpiper. It’s a short-winged bird; wings are just atop tail. Bill is short and pretty straight. Overall coloration is fairly pale, not brown. Baird’s and Least are brown-hued birds. Both also have a chest coloration…
And so it goes — Grackles are next. They’re actually fun on the Bolivar Peninsula!! (you’re on you own for females (ask the males)).
Finally, here are a couple of interesting feeding behaviors by Cattle and Snowy. (Cattle video is pretty dis-focused).
Here’s more on egrets/herons focusing on feeding behavior (mostly).
