Field Trip to Hornsby Bend

Over the weekend of Class 4 (May 17 & 18) Jeff led 2 brief field trips to the Hornsby ponds, looking for shorebirds. Checklist of shorebirds seen is below. The Hudsonian Godwits were the highlight and I believe were life birds for some!! It’s been a great year for sightings of the Hudsons in Texas !!
