Allan and I headed out to Granger area yesterday on our semi-regular NED (Nature Exploration Day). Here’s the other nice find of the IDDGG Class FT. Seen on Saturday morning by all participants I believe. Again if you were present lets let others ID it.
Gull #3 for Gulls class. (Same day, location) Gull #3 is an Adult Herring. We can see that this is an adult gull. Pretty distant shot, but if you zoom in we don’t see any ring as in ring bill, but more telling the transition from gray underwing to black underwing tip is more gray-to-black…

Nice and cool on the Oregon Coast!! Here’s a few birds and sea creatures. I’ll let you gull aficionados give me an ID on these west coast gulls. Hint: 3 species.
