Who am I?
Been hunting for Baird’s Sparrow south of Marfa. Had 8 bogies, but can’t get them to sit up. Here’s the best “view” of a possible I’ve had. The quest continues!!! (Note: there’s no bird in the photo).
Gull #2 from Cedar Point today (for the gulls class of 2024) Pretty straight forward 1st cycle Herring gull. Notice the inner primary “window” with some light shining through. White Rock spillway in Dallas did Jeff’s Texas gull rule one better: yielding 100% ring billed. I did a little better at lake ray Hubbard this evening. Have a look at these 2 bad, distant digiscoped pix. Thoughts?
