Shorebirds Sandia Wetlands
Stopped at Sandia Wetlands near Balmorhea for another shorebird fix. 6 species of shorebirds. Phalaropes are just so photogenic!!
Sandia Wetlands
No pix, but I stopped in Sandia Wetlands yesterday and had Upland sandpipers, LB Curlew, BN Stilts, Killdeer, Less Yellowlegs, and Solitary sandpipers. Davis Mountains Sparrows
Spent some more time out in the Davis Mountains last week. The Brewer’s Sparrows sing in groups all in the same bush. See if you can ID others in the bush.

On return from Davis mnts today I made my regular stop at the pecos river on the outskirts of Iraan (that’s “Ira — Anne”). There I found a Least Flycatcher and a low altitude Uppy flyby.
