Here’s my Shorebird Scorecard for the last 5 weeks. 21 species at Hornsby and 34 of 38 regularly occurring species overall. Cedar Point Lake Buchanan
Went hunting for shorebirds at Lake Buchanan this morning. Looks like lots of shorebird habitat all around the lake, but I only found 1 Killdeer, 1 Solitary Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Sandpiper, 2 flyover Upland Sandpipers and 7 Avocets. Here’s hoping more stop in next time.
