I had a great time at Granger Lake yesterday, sitting solo by the swim area watching migration go by!! No gulls at the swim area, but good numbers flying by and at 2 poorly accessible roosts.

I’m not at home, but neighbor asking me about “ those birds flying over in V formation “ = Sandhills. Eyes to the skies!! And ears!! My favorite sound!!!
A cool sight this morning: 200 or so cattle egret on Thaxton road south of McKinney falls SP.
Distribution !!!! 3 of the 7 Habits !!! Here’s birds (I think) on radar from this morning. They appear to be landing for the morning. Also attached is Birdcast prognostication for tonight. Eric and I had an interesting time during April watching the radar for birds and especially cold fronts that might mean a fallout.
