Brown Booby
Also took me about 30 seconds to add this Brown Booby in Aggieland a couple of weeks ago to my Texas list. Only bird on the lake.

Spent monday and tuesday on a quick trip hoping for Gray Gull in the Rio Grande Valley. Didn’t find that gull, but always wanted to visit the famous City of Brownsville Dump !!!! Quite a sight!!!
Spent about 4 hours on morning of November 9 staking out Santa Elena canyon overlook with a buddy and some pleasant fellow birders trying to see nutting’s flycatcher. Had to settle for heard only but we heard it about 10 times and have no doubts.
