Sandia Wetlands
No pix, but I stopped in Sandia Wetlands yesterday and had Upland sandpipers, LB Curlew, BN Stilts, Killdeer, Less Yellowlegs, and Solitary sandpipers. Mr. Baird’s ? NO!!
Once again just as i dreamed!! Was able to get this Baird’s sparrow with perfect background in Davis mountains today!! (Note: early April Fools dad joke!)
Marfa Breeding Bird Survey
Got the Breeding Bird Survey near Marfa done for 2023 yesterday with my buddy Allan. It was a good year!! Many of the species that were down during drought seemed to have come back!!
