Just added bird 148 at The Dacha: Western Meadowlark. (Note: I don’t have a pix of Western, this one’s an Eastern).
We considered this woodpecker for Hairy, but as we decided in the field, I still think Downy, but it is worth a look. Here’s part of what Sibley says. Anyone disagree? Article by David A. Sibley

They migrate from prairie nesting sites To west coast of South America. Right over cen Tex. Also listen for another iconic sound of fall migration—Sandhill cranes!!
