Tejas Field Trip

Good to see several of you this week at Tejas Camp.

It’s a fairly quiet time of year, but we saw a few birds. I tried to get people to work on birds in flight and flocks as well as to really notice the beak & head.

It was especially quiet at times on Thursday, but we did, maybe, have an Eastern Towhee. I’m only about 80% sure from what I saw, but nobody saw any white on the back and wings, as far as I know.

I will endeavor to schedule another field trip soon and try to make it on a weekend.
