Canthon blumei
Canthon blumei was described as a new species in 2015. It had previously been classified as a subspecies of Canthon hummectus. Canthon blumei inhabit higher elevation montane habitats in the Trans Pecos and elsewhere. When the photos below were entered as an iNat observation in June of 2024, I was informed that these were the first observations of this species on iNat.
