Completed my 15th Sparrowfest yesterday, which was the 20th overall for the event. Sparrow numbers remain low in CenTex, but we still managed about 16 species for the group including Lark Bunting and Brewer’s Sparrow. Several places on the Gulls Field trip we had very large numbers of birds. Here’s only 1/2 of a huge flight of cormorants that flew by us on the Texas city Dike. Anybody volunteer to count them?
