Allan and I were privileged to watch a second hatch (this time of large flying ants) at LE Woods Picnic Area in the Davis Mountains last week. A few trans-Pecos birds.
A few sparrows from recent trip to Fort Davis area. 16 Sparrow species for the trip. No luck on the Baird’s despite many hours of walking the roads. The quest continues!!! I find the Lark Bunting to be so photogenic!! My favorite sparrow.
