Nutting’s Flycatcher Big Bend
Spent about 4 hours on morning of November 9 staking out Santa Elena canyon overlook with a buddy and some pleasant fellow birders trying to see nutting’s flycatcher. Had to settle for heard only but we heard it about 10 times and have no doubts.
Odd Plumage Turkey Vulture
On September 26 this bird was somewhere in Oklahoma. On October 1 I’m pretty sure i saw the same bird in Alvarado Texas. Heading south!! (I didn’t get a pix though)
Gulls Lake Ray Hubbard
Well I’ve been out gulling most days this week. Staying at my sister’s who lives near a favorite gull location on Lake Ray Hubbard.
