Suspicious Swift

Just posted the following in Real Texbirds group. Willie Sekula thinks he had Black Swift in Corpus Christie yesterday. (Note: a Chimney Swift is pictured).

I wasn’t going to mention it due to no photographic evidence. But a friend pointed me to Willie sekulas post.

30 minutes ago I had a flyover view of a large black (lower case) swift near Baffin Bay south of Corpus Christi. Vicinity of kaufer-Hubert memorial park. It was a large black swift. I noticed slower wingbeats than chimney. Seemed to fly with wider turns than chimney. It was alone and was silent. I don’t think I have enough evidence to claim it, but I’m suspicious it was a Black Swift.
